Are the UA UAD-2 Satellite processors compatible as external hardware processors with Studio One?

I have a Midas F32 as my interface, and I want to add plugin processing capability and capacity to my iMac and Studio One.  Will I see the full benefit of off-loading the processing for the UA plugins to the UAD-2 Satellite, or do I just get the plugins capability running internal to the iMac?

Will it matter as to the version of Satellite - thunderbolt vs. firewire?  I believe the firewire is firewire800

Thanks, end of year wishes for the last major piece to the studio...

Yes, all UAD Plugin are processed through their hardware units so you will see the benefits of saving processing power within your computer. Be careful though, those plugins are like crack, LOL!!!
