SofTube Master Tape mutes output audio when inserted on the master bus as a MixFX

SofTube Master Tape mutes output audio when inserted on the master bus as a MixFX. Running Studio One V3.5.4 (64-bit) and installed the latest version of SofTube Master Tape. I also tried running Studio One in 32-bit precision as suggested on another post, but no change. Anyone else have this same issue?

The fix for now:

Click the bar on the right side of the Tape VST GUI labeled RC-1. This opens additional controls. You will see the Input and Output faders are at zero. You just need to raise the volumes. I also saved the preset so I don't have to do this every time I load it
