Hi,

I cannot get Waves and Softube to work with my Studio One 2. I've followed the instructions on Waves's website and I also use the correct locations for VST-plugins. Anyone with similar problems?

I am on Studio One Pro v4.6 and I have no issues with Waves 64bit plugins. I don’t use Softube.

Is it possible that you have a 32bit version of Studio One v2 installed but have installed 64bit versions of Waves and Softube? Also, I don’t know too much about Studio One v2 since it’s kind of old. Does it support VST3 or only VST2?  If you installed VST3 plugins, that could also be the problem.

Thank you for your answer.

Ok, so maybe there's a problem with older versions? And how do I check if I have 32bit or 64bit? :] I also don't know what Studio One 2  supports, and I don't know how to tell if I have VST2 or VST3, so I'm kind of lost here XD

I checked Wikipedia and it looks like VST3 support was added in Studio One v1, so that’s probably not an issue.  It’s most likely either the 32bit/64but issue, or you just need to make sure that Studio One is rescanning your VST folders at start up.  In Studio One v4.6 there is a check box that you have to check. I don’t know if Studio One v2 has that same check box, but you should look for it in the same menu where you added the new folders for your waves and Softube plugins.

Good! Yeah, it's the same with v2. I actually got an answer från Waves support, and apparently only Waves plugins up to V8 work with Studio One 2, so the only thing I can do (since the plugin I want to use is V11) is to upgrade my DAW. Maybe it's time for v4. I guess there's something similar with Softube. Anyways, thank you for your help!
