Question

So in the Studio One, when recording every sound that was made would be picked up and shown in the sound waves. For some reason now when I record the sound waves won't show that a sound was picked up but when I go back and listen to it I can hear that it was picked up. The sound waves are very small now and only show when I make really loud noise. I'm not sure what I did or how to fix it but I need them more "defiant" because in order to like cut something out I need more sound waves so I can see where its at. Please help me and answer my question as soon as possible.

Your gain was probably down when recording, so you want to address that. Have the input meters open when setting up recording, and try to target around -12 db on the input gain for a good signal. There is also a slider on the bottom right of the arranger that will increase the size of the existing wave files so you can edit a little easier.
