I've seen questions about this, but no official response from Presonus so I'm going to restate the question:

On Quantum 2, with a certified apple thunderbolt cable plugged into a new Mac Pro trashcan - we see a blinking
blue light, and the power led in red.  I've tried everything I could think of - I have this same device in my studio and had similar issues at first but somehow I was able to get by it.  This situation is having at a studio install I'm in the middle of and I couldn't be more frustrated with the Quantum 2.  PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE - PRESONUS answer this question!

Studio install is ALL presonus gear so this is not a good look for the customer or the brand.  Thanks.

I also have the exact same issue and i have 2 units and a brand new iMac Pro. I feel like it has something to do with the new OS.

same issue here, connected just fine yesterday, today....nothing.  Why isn't Presonus answering this?  MOTU usually has someone respond to these types of posts.  I'm truly disappointed in Presonus, I really wanted this to work.  Might have to go back to MOTU.

With a 2011 Mac Mini running MacOS 10.13.4, everything was working fine until I upgraded to Universal Control v2.7 (build 47644). Symptoms as you describe. Uninstalling the drivers, rebooting and reverting to v2.7 (build 47164) and everything works again.

However, I am still having issues with a 2015 MBP. Was previously working flawlessly with 10.13.4, but now does not properly connect to the Quantum 2 after upgrading to 10.13.5 (regardless if using build 47644 or 47164).
