3.5.5 fails to save.

I noticed this first in 3.5.4 and was hoping is was fixed in 3.5.5. Seems not. While auto save is taking longer and longer, a save fails, Both in song and project. 

Quitting without saving also takes a long time but will completes. Studio One will work fine for about 30 minutes and then it will not save. So have to quit the app. Then the song can only be opened through history and the last auto save. The song file itself either is not the current version or has been trashed and will not open ( I have seen it do both, Studio one will report the song cannot be found when trying to select it from the Studio One Recents Menu. 

I am using a 2011 Mac running El Capitan 10.11.6 (15G19009) I have 4 GB RAM. So tell me is it a memory or system problem? Or are others seeing this same problem in the last two versions?

Thank you in advance for your assistance in this matter. I am losing a lot of time here....

I seem to be having the same problem on my MacBook Pro, I7 with 8Gig of RAM, running High Sierra. I have a secondary drive and thats the one giving that error.
