I figured out that I need to set up an instrument and also a keyboard to get arturia beatstep to work in Studio One. I believe I also need to set a controller as well in order to use automation.
My question now is how do I assign specific MIDI channels to VSTis? The beatstep outputs MIDI channel 10 from it's drum channel and MIDI 1 and 2 from it's sequencer channels. Do I need to create a keyboard for each channel? That part confuses me.
