I have a StudioLive 16.4.2 ai mixer. Firmware is "SL 1.0.9194" and a Alienware 15 R3 Signature edition Laptop. I'm trying to connect the mixer and the laptop through FireWire to thunderbolt adapter. Can I do this?

If you purchase a PC with USB-C you would need to ensure that the USB-C port on the computer is an approved Thunderbolt 3 port.
