I have a new iMac and have connected a new Studio 2/6 unit via USB to it.  When I play any audio file on the iMac the main meters on the Studio 2/6 clip often, easily heard on my Tannoy monitors.  Can I in effect turn down the USB audio output level of the iMac or the USB audio input of the Studio 2/6?  When I go into utilities>audio midi set up and select the Studio 26 the levels there are greyed out.  Thank you.

Ensure that you have the current version of Universal Control installed.  You can download here.

Open Universal Control and Update Firmware.

You can ultimately adjust volume from the application you use.  Most audio apps have volume control.
