Impact XT should indicate already assigned notes

Now that Impact XT has multiple banks, new issues crop up. Different Impact kit vendors handle the second note assignments differently. Some have no second note assignment, some use the same note as the first note assignment, some use an adjacent note for the second note, and some use a note several octaves from the first note assignment. This last is problematic. Let's say I have a kick drum assigned to Bank A, pad 2, with the first note assignment being D0 and the second note assignment being F4. Back C, pad 6 has F4 as its first note assignment. If I play Bank C, pad 6, I hear the kick drum, but the pad shows no sample assignment at all. (This example happened to me just this way with one of the kits from included content.) The only way I can figure out what the heck is going on is to start looking around until I find which other pad is used the same note. Hunt and peck; very annoying. This situation could be resolved with color-coding. In the example given, the note assignment for Bank C, pad 6 would be displayed in a different color than is usually used for note assignments, thus indicating that note is already being used by another pad. Not only would this avoid the confusion I experienced, it also would serve to prevent people accidentally assigning the same note to two pads. If they want the same note assigned to two pads, they simply ignore the different color, but at least they know that note is already being used elsewhere.

Sorry, I did not state the note assignments to which I refer are those for Impact XT's pads.
