So I can play music during breaks. And I can't get to the board to turn on my MP3 Player. Also I think some people would like this on multiple tracks for DJ-ing.

Why not just use VLC Remote instead.

Setup VLC Player from videolan dot org and assign the output to a DAW return in UC Surface software, this can be done on Mac or PC.

On the Studio 192 Sound Output (for Mac and PC) Maps to UC Surface like this:

Studio 192 - Output - DAW Return Mapping
Studio 192 Outputs UC Surface DAW Returns
Main Out Left DAW Return 1
Main Out Right DAW Return 2
Output 1 DAW Return 3
Output 2 DAW Return 4
Output 3 DAW Return 5
Output 4 DAW Return 6
Output 5 DAW Return 7
Output 6 DAW Return 8

Just assign VLC to play out of which set of outputs, link them to get stereo pan effect or do it manually.

Then get VLC Remote for your phone and remote control your MP3 player. You then have control of triggering your MP3 player remotely and the ability to control the level from VLC and/or UC Surface.

What I do is this:

I have a computer plugged into the RM32 which is also running iTunes.  When the computer boots, it automatically launches UC Surface and iTunes.  I loaded "Remote" on my iPad and linked it with the iTunes on the computer.  I ran an 3.5mm to RCA cable from the computer's headphone jack to the RM32's "Tape In" jacks and assigned the Tape return to a DCA on the Group Masters page.  When the band is on their last song in the set, I pull up "Remote" on my iPad and start a song from iTunes and then just fade it in when the band stops playing.
