When selecting media for creating music CD's you should be using a CD-R blank media.
We do not recommend using, CD+R, CD-RW or Music-CD discs.
If you want a recommendation for blank CD-R's. We suggest using discs that duplication houses use which are the Ri-Data CD-R. They come with Inkjet Printable surfaces or without. These can be found online or at your local computer retailer. Unfortunately the big box stores don't carry them.
Additionally major brand blank CD-R's may not always work. Make sure that if you send your disc to a duplication house, make sure you have them do a CRC check to make sure there are no errors with your master image.
In the event you can't get a successful burn, try using a different DVD/RW drive that writes CD-R. We recommend using the Plextor brand optical drives. Plextor is most often used as the master drive in duplication machines. These may be a little more money than most drives, however they work very well for this purpose.
