It is nice that you ask to refer to the manual, but the manual does NOT explain, what a "Traditional DCA" is.

So would you please be so kind to explain?

A traditional DCA when created will not move the faders assigned within that DCA. Simple create a DCA group with the "Traditional DCA" option off, move the DCA fader and you will see all the faders move. Engage the  "Traditional DCA" option and move the DCA fader, note the faders in the DCA group do not move. That is the difference.
