Dear PreSonus Forum,
Below I posted my setup but first allow me my question describing the problem.
Are there known issues connecting the AudioBox USB with Reason 10 on one Mac via another 8-Port-Midi-Interface of a second Mac? Because this problem persists: I have Cubase 9.5 Pro on the first Mac. The good: Digital Audio to seconde Mac via a Toslink/Optical converter is connected and works well. Super. Now I would like to trigger and Sync Reason as slave via Midi from the first Mac using the AudioBox attached to the second Mac. However, when I plug the AMT8 Output port (first Mac) to the Midi IN of the AudioBox (second Mac), nothing seems to happen in Reason 10. Not quite nothing, Reason seems to recognize it but no Midi Events are finding their way in I´m afraid and I cannot find a menu or mask that would allow me to monitor Midi Events going in.... I am puzzled as I am not sure what the matter might be...I play a note on my Masterkeyboard M-Audio 88 (goes via USB to the first Mac) and Cubase sees it. I assign the correct Midi Path of the AMT8 and LED flickers. But that´s it. Am I missing something here? How could I get this desired setup to gel?
Cheers for any clues at all, Mark
