Question

I've noticed my Artist masters aren't near as loud as songs I've had pro mastered.  Does the Studio One pro version record at a louder, more pro level?  I've also noticed that when I send from my +4 db (not -10 consumer grade) level analog board, I have to turn it way down to keep the AudioBox from clipping, even when the AudioBox input levels are turned all the way down.  I'm just wondering if the Studio One 4 Pro series  upgrade will solve this problem.  Thanks for any and all response.

Hello,

No, Studio One Professional doesn't record louder than any other version.  Your other songs are louder because a professional mastered them and made them louder.
