Can someone provide clear step by step instructions to add a usb mic to Studio One 4 with win 10? Win 10 recognizes the mic, but Studio One tells me my sample rate for the mic is different than my set sample rate (true). Using Asio4ll and it is set to 192 but I need it set to 44.1 and I am unable to change Asio4ll.

Help!

Ultimately, check with the manufacturer of that USB microphone to see if they have specific DAW setup instructions.

Here is some general instructions for setting up a USB microphone with Studio One.

Open Windows Sound Control panel. Set your Windows audio as the default playback and recording device. Then open the Playback and Recording devices Properties > Advanced tab, set each to the sample rate as what you want to use in Studio One.

In StudioOne you will set the "Audio Device" setting to your "Windows Audio" then hit "Control Panel" button and set the "Recording" to your Mic in the drop down. Set the latency to the lowest setting as you will be using the Windows Driver for the audio driver.

Set the "Playback" to your computers audio speakers.

This should allow you to configure the USB Mic in StudioOne for use.
