Question

Hi Presonus,

I am considering your new Studio 192 interface as it has a lot of features I appreciate (DSP powered, Z-latency mix, seamless punch in etc). From what I can gather in forums and people using it seem to say it works great.

Question: All examples I have seen deal with recording audio at close to zero latency. How does it work using (recording) VIs in combination with audio?

Although you can get low Z latency for monitoring your voice through the Z monitoring including Fat channels FX, Vis are currently around 5 ms output latency at the lowest levels not counting any MIDI input delay. Depending  on the  genre of music and artist  that may or may not be OK. For me a guitarist who hacks on the keyboard it is fine.
