Can I plug the audio box usb into a 5v power supply to use as a stand alone mixer? Want to use to compact testing purposes.

While we don't explicitly support this, you can do this. Just make sure the mix knob is turned to the middle so you can hear input and output. Make sure to use a powerbank bigger that is at least 2600mAh, 4000mAh or higher recommended in case you use phantom power, your mileage will vary depending on microphone(s) used.
