When I have a bunch of patterns laid out in a big arrangement, it's get hard to visually see where each pattern resides. Switching pattern variations should also change the pattern clip color to help visually keep track of where each pattern resides in the arrangement.

Good idea. Maybe have it do shades of the same color.
