Lenovo G51-35 w/AMD quadcore processor @ 2.2 GHz; 8GB RAM; 1TB HD. Audiobox USB has XLR input for mic. Blue Snowball mic; USB2 to USB. Question relates solely to whether or not Audiobox will recognize a device not directly plugged into it.

Hey Scott

Not that I know of and here is why: When you plug in the Snowball mic through USB, it will require a driver to be used. Which again means that in Studio One, you will have to change the audio driver to that USB microphone which will take over as the audio device since you can only use one audio driver in Stuido One (pretty much any DAW for that matter)

So I would indeed use the XLR into the Audiobox

Hope this helps
