Faderport Classic shut my pc down and if connected won't allow me to turn the pc back on

Faderport Classic shut my pc down and if connected won't allow me to turn the pc back on.  If I disconnect in from usb and from the power source my pc is normal.  When I connect it the computer shuts down and as long as it is connected will not restart.

Please help...
