Currently you can only locate the cursor when you click on the top (active) layer or into empty space. If you click anywhere on the other layers nothing happens (unless you are trying to select a range to promote to the active layer). If you're working on a song with lots of layers it's a pain to have to find the active part just to locate the cursor at that part of the song. Having the cursor move there would make it a lot easier.
