AUDIO DROP OUT AND LACK OF SMOOTH PLAYABILITY OF AUDIO AFTER LOGIC PRO INSTALL

I noticed this happened when I had a clean install of my Mac OSX latest version and I decided to install Photoshop, this caused stupid audio clipping issues. And I'm not talking about volume clipping where it's too loud.

I am talking about the audio just cutting in and out when I am playing back multiple audio tracks.

And now it's happening after I install Logic Pro.

It should go without saying, when it happened with Photoshop, I took it off, and it was still occurring.

IT WAS ONLY AFTER I DID CLEAN INSTALL OF OSX THAT THIS WENT AWAY AND REINSTALLED SO-4. No more issues.

Now the same is happening with Logic Pro (decided to give logic one more go). It's causing clipping after I play multiple audio tracks to continue my mixing.

Everything else is literally the same.

Headphones, DAC (RME/BFP), TotalMix is working great.

I have a feeling that the way SO-4 is programmed, it gets fussy when there are other programs that are installed that work closely as well with the CPU and it's competing with the other software, even though the other software may not be running out in the open.

Anyhow, this is really getting on my nerves. I tried PRAM resetting, resetting, unplug/replug my DAC, all that. Yeah.

Annoying when you drop money on a DAW and it causes clipping when it can't play nice with other software you have install on your MBP 2012 2.9 Ghz i7 16gb RAM machine.

So Presonus team, what you do to solve this?

Tried all steps listed there. Not helpful. Gonna uninstall Logic Pro X and hope I don't have to do a clean install of Mac OSX, because if I do, I'm gonna be so ticked off.

Uninstalled Logic, no more audio clipping. I do notice however my machine is running hotter than usual. It's 163 to 167 F with one browser tab open while Studio One 4 is open too. Usually is 145F to 150F.
