I'd like to save a metronom state together with a song / template.

As it is at the moment, it always remembers the last state of the metronome. It's off when I had it off before closing my previous project, and it's on if I had it on. I'd like to work with templates in which the metronome is automatically in a specific state (on or off) when I load them.

So, please let us save metronome state together with a song.

Great suggestion!

The reason why this is useful for me is thus:

I use Studio1 to "take notes" as it were, of musical ideas.

And further I am primarily a guitar player, so quickly laying down some beats is a pain.

Sometimes in the jotting down process, it is useful to have metronome with the right accents and signature to help avoid "destroying the mood" and also to help keep things tight while recording.

I've gone as far as creating a home template with a drum loop, but it's too much of a straight-jacket for the benefit.

I definitely agree.

Inclusion of off-beat level is very important in this case (hope not just for me).
