Question

I have Just bought a StudioLive 16.0.2 USB when connecting to a windows 10 (latest updates) i only get a single channel input and output selection. i have installed the latest version of Universal Control.

I am also unable to to get any output sound from the desk or through the pc itself.

I have a single mic connected to the Unit for initial setup testing and i can create a level within the desk and this does pass through to the pc and mimic the sound level tests there. i thought i would be able to assign pc applications (where allowed) to the various stereo channels and then have them all mix to a single master channel for output.

I am trying to set this up initially as a basic streaming mixer, taking a mic input, game sounds (likely system) and a chat source (discord) allow me to mix all channels and output to the streaming software the master mix. but the issues above are preventing me being able to do this.

any help or advice on sorting this would be very greatful

Unfortunately there are many features that were lost with the switch from Fireware to USB on this mixer, I see it reported here and I also reported it. I think it is very well that customers complain and UC Surface is redone in order to correct the attributes of the latest FIREWARE mixer to the maximum. Much has been lost. It's Sad I don't want to believe that the Presonus brand is turning away from its customers. My request for example has not yet been reviewed, at least in the last version released. I will go on the 5 product of pressonus all mixeres
