I literally JUST bought this interface. I was really hoping for the first time in my life i'd be able to have that sweet, sweet plug and play experience but nope, I never do. I owned a Audiobox 22VSL before and I had even worse problems which is why I bought this one instead. I fully uninstalled those old drivers, cleaned my registry, and installed universal control, the exact version that goes with my interface, for the exact operating system I use which is Windows 7 64 bit, SP1. I chose only the studio series driver, and installed that. After that was done, I plugged in my interface with the usb C to A cable, into a free USB port on the back of my PC. It told me it was installing, until it gave me this error after a few seconds. I tried a different usb port, same problem. I'm only plugging into a USB 2.0 Port. What gives?? This is the most irritating thing I have to deal with. Its been an hour or two as well and support hasn't responded so now i'm looking here for any help. Really frustrating...

HERE IS THE SOLUTION I FOUND!
If you are also having a similar issue, you must make sure that you install the drivers in the correct order!

1.) Before doing anything, even before installing Universal Control, plug in your interface and let the default windows drivers install. You will get an error message saying some parts failed, but this is normal.

2.) Install UC and the appropriate drivers, and if you do it in this order, it will essentially be completing the partially failed installation before you installed universal control, thus fully installing the driver.

Hope this helped anyone else who has this same issue!
