WavPack is a completely open audio compression format providing lossless, high-quality lossy, and a unique hybrid compression mode. Several DAWs and lots of open source software already supports it, and I would love to convert my entire library of .wav files to .wv, as it would save hundreds of GB. The only thing stopping me from doing it now is Studio One support.

I record with Reaper because it has native support for recording directly to wavpack or flac. Obviously you need a fast SSD and CPU to be able to deal with a lot of compressed files, but I have that luxury.  I had the Sphere subscription for a while and tried to make the transition to Studio One, but the lack of wv support and inability to record to anything other than wav made me go back to Reaper.

Please add this feature.
