Question

all worked fine last night not moved. Today my MacBook doesn't show it in sound preferences & the red LED isn't lighting up on the interface, have tried 3x Usb leads no change can I assume USB input connection damaged or could it be firmware/software issue? All bit strange as box hardly ever moved. Bit panicked as only 6mths old & in the middle of University study based round using this kit!

I had the same issue usb port very flimsy and detached from the circuit board just by plugging in. Now a defunct piece of equipment that needs replacing after only a few uses. I feel ripped off and frustrated even it is a cheap solution to recording.

My persons AudioBox USB 96 is now an expensive doorstop.

After Mojave it failed to appear as a usb device to the MacBook Air. I have now updated to Catalina. received an email today from presonus to notify that updates are available to fix Catalina problems.

I have installed latest universal control. cannot update firmware on AudioBox, because Mac can't see it.

The red light on the AudioBox comes on, but does not show up in Mac. have tried 3 different leads, and with and without USB Hub.

3 other devices are working fine through same USB Hub.
