I was running FireStudio 26x26 and FireStudio Tube on OSX 10.9.5 with UC 1.7.6 and S1Pro 3.5.4.

All was stable for a very long time.

Then I got the email about the half-off S1Pro upgrade sale. Bought it tonight and installed. It tells me to upgrade OSX. I do. BAM! UC is gone. No way back without wiping the drive.

I know now there’s a blog from last month saying to not do what I just did, but, come on. Who gets a marketing email about a sale and goes searching for blogs warning you not to go there?

Please tell me there are plans to bring UC 1.7.6 forward to Catalina, or please tell me another way to save my hardware investment! I appreciate any help

The "Universal Control 3.1.2 Milestone Release Notes" of 11/19/19 say:

Universal Control 1.7.6 for FireWire products (including the StudioLive 16.0.2 Classic) still works onWindows 7, 8.1, and 10, as well as Mac OS X 10.8.5—macOS 10.14 Mojave. However, it will not beavailable on macOS 10.15 Catalina or future macOS versions.  Users of these products are advised notto update their systems beyond macOS 10.14 Mojave.

●StudioLive 1642
●StudioLive 2442
●StudioLive 1602 Classic
●FireStudio Project
●FireStudio Mobile
●FireStudio Tube
●FireStudio Lightpipe

It always makes sense to check release notes of software/firmware, especially when using a discontinued product. The Download Page is a great help to find the information needed.
