Question

I am using Studio One, v2 with all updates (as of 1/25/16). My Monitors are KRK Rokit 5's (powered). I have an Asus laptop loaded with Windows 7, Intel i5 processors. My interface is an M-Audio M-Track also up to date. My record and playback sounds have way too much bass in them. When I play music from another source (Windows Media Player, youtube videos) the sound is fine. The sound is fine in headphones, just too bassy in monitors. Any help is appreciated.

Close all applications.  Open Studio One.  Create a New Song.  Open an Empty Song.  Import an audio file that you know plays normally with Windows Media Player.

Too much bass?
