Hello. I own a presonus audiobox 1818vsl.
I have a problem with the line outputs for jack connections. For some reason the channels one and two is playing lower than the others. I contact your support line and a helpful employee suggested that it might be that the internal mixer on the soundcard is turned lower down on the one and two channels.
He said this might have happened when the software was updated around three years ago and the mixing function was removed. He suggests that the internal levels got stuck since then.
He was not able to find an older version of the software and therefore he couldn't help me.

I'm running on win 10 and earlier on win7.
I've tested the line outputs with different speakers and different sound softwares and I find the same problem everytime.
I bought the presonus used and therefore the former owner might have been adjusting the internal mixer. I have myself not been able to adjust the internal soundlevels through any presonus software.

What can  I do?

Hi. I own and use an 1818vsl too. From your question, I presume you are using UC as the driver. What you need to do is uninstall UC and then install Audiobox VSL v1.3. This driver has the virtual mixer and you can then adjust the levels. The driver is on the downloads page for the interface on the Presonus site. While you are at it, I wouldn't bother re-installing a later driver as you will lose the virtual mixer facility; and there are no benefits for this interface I am aware of. Mine works flawlessly with v1.3 on Win7. It is also stated to be compatible with Win10. Hope this helps.
