Question

While using Studio One 4 last night I had Impact selected, I held down "Bank" on my Atom and pressed Pad 2. But instead of getting a new Bank the first 8 Pads turn yellow. And I cannot go back to Bank 1 or do anything with the Atom after that. This happens in all music projects that I load. Ones that I know have worked in the past.

What am I missing? Have I accidentally changed a setting somewhere for it to be doing this?

Usually a computer restart will fix an issue like this. I have seen this happen with Atoms using a longer cable or connected to a weak USB port or non-powered USB hub. Try replacing or changing the length of the USB cable and make sure it's a good cable. An old thin USB cable will give you issues.
