Question

I just purchased an Audiobox USB and am running it on my 2009 iMac with OSX Yosemite version 10.10.5. Whenever I try and record any sound through either my microphone or my guitar there is a loud crackling sound when I play back the tracks. I also hear the noise when I pull out the mic and guitar lead from the inputs. Is there any way I can fix this?

That computer is pretty close to minimum specs for S1-3... I would start a tech support ticket and see if the noise is associated with the processor...
