On Startup, get "Failed to open Microphone Array (Intel Smart Sound Technology (Intel SST)

Already did the Control Panel, Sound, Properties... etc. Configured properly, both Speakers and Mic set to24 bit 48000 hertz.

Not a lot of other configuration options; laptop is showing device configured properly and working properly, and testing shows the mic is on and working.

I am not using the internal mic for recording, I will be plugging in my mixing board; however, WHY is the program not opening the internal mic? (mixing board has not been plugged in yet, so its not that it is looking for that configuration)

Did not have this issue with Audacity, Pro Tools, etc..  Just your software. Windows 10 up to date.

What's the story?

Thanks

Yes - I've got the same issue. The driver seems to only offer 48Mhz ... the 44.1 option isn't there - I guess that's what it is complaining about. I've downloaded the latest driver but it didn't help ... has anybody managed to resolve this?

I have the same error message, and I can't record/playback so I'm assuming there is a relationship.  Will be interested to learn if anyone figures this out or dives into support w/PreSonus...

Same problem here, but it's with my new Studio One 5 (Sphere) and the new Dell XPS 17 (2020). If I have a audio interface plugged in, then I won't see that error message (duh), but if I did not plug in an audio interface, then the error message will pop up. Pretty annoying...

I have the same problem with the Lenovo Yoga.  I am unable to adjust the microphone array from 48 hz to 44 hz.  Presonus will not let me change the song to 48 hz to match.  What is the answer?  Please Presonus help fix this issue.

After recently redownloading Presonus Studio One 4 I had the same problem when I was opening it.

This was what fixed it for me.

1. You will need a download an app known as ASIO4ALL

2. After instillation open up Presonus Studio One

3. Go to "configure audio device"

4. On the popup, click on "Audio Setup". This should list your Audio Devices. It is probably set on "Windows Audio"

5. Choose the ASIO4ALL device and then click "OK"

Should be ready and fully functional! :-)
