Failed to open Microphone (heyday microphone 01)

Please make sure that the sample rates of your recording and playback devices match.

Its a heyday mic that works on my laptop and Ableton perfectly well but fails when studio one tries. Why did I pay money for this software if it wont even open a simple mic? I would hate to have to learn a whole new DAW but if Studio one cant do the job Ive got to find someone who can

I had this same error message. i went to system > sound and made sure that my input device and output device weren't the same, then it worked.
