Anybody found  a resolution to this? My Quantum worked fine for 3 months, then now I am being told I have to use a custom power options called "PreSonus Audio Streaming" which causes my CPU to max out at 100%. Even with that option on it crackles and pops. Thinking I should return this since support is not being helpful at all.

I'm having the same issue with the intermittent crackle/pops. I'm using a a new 2020 16'' i9 MacBook Pro, and a late 2013 iMac. I think its Presonus hardware-software that needs a update.

Had this problem also.
the presonus power profile actually sets the CPU Idle setting to off, so it always clocks at 100%

This generates lots of heat and fan noise not great.. but for real time computing some folk require this option.. like Nasa etc.

I cured the problem of clicks in Studio by manually setting the studio one exe in windows cpu affinity to not use CPU core 0 and logical processor 4 . which completely decouples studio one from using an entire core on a 4 core i7.

Windows now has some head room to do its annoying cpu requests and studio one has 6 logical processors to play with..

Fixed my horrible DPC clicks.. they are still reported on latency check software.. but when in a studio one session you won't notice a thing until you max out the CPU with plugins and super low buffers..

Hope this helps..

side note is worth disabling cpu core parking as that still creates spikes here and there

for me switching off HyperThreading in the Bios of my Thinkpad made the clicks ond pops go away.

(Maybe also try to switch off the Intel Power Management Option in Bios as well if possible)

I ve got the Quantum2626 and Thinkpad T580.
