Why does my Capture software keep crashing during our live recording from the Presonus Studiolive soundboard?

We have updated to the latest version of Capture. Online info states that Windows 10 does not work well with the firewire connection, so we reverted our driver to Windows 7 legacy driver. The recording continues to cut off and has to be restarted in the middle of a session.

Performance that you are mentioning indicates your storage drive is too slow to record the number of channels that are being recorded.

Check the speed of your hard drive, if it's 5400 RPM and/or if it's the system drive. you'll need to use an external USB 3.0 - 7200 RPM or SSD Drive to get the problem free performance you need.
