Studio One 3 (pro) not closing properly ?

I work from a Mac Mini OS Catalina.  After I finish working on my project for the day I close Studio One 3 (pro) and I get the spinning ball of death and I have to force to quit the session, due to the fact it never closes. Is this an update issue?
