I've recently changed from my laptop to a larger CPU with speakers and a monitor, and I installed the driver for my Studio 24c, it worked fine for the first day and then when I tried to plug in my guitar to an amp plugin in Ableton Live, it just played a VERY high pitched sound, I then tried reinstalling the driver, and now I just hear static. I've increased the block size to 2048 and now simply there is no audio coming out of the interface.

I'm running on Windows 10, 64bit, with an i5 Processor, 3,30 Ghz, and 8GB of RAM, please let me know if someone has this problem too.

So I have been scouring the internet for the solution to my Studio 24c Static with audio out to a pa from my windows 10 asus tuf gaming A15.

One video I watched stated to keep looking at the source.

I replaced my audio out cables with really good ones, still static.

the cable I am using for the compute is a USB-c to the USB-c on the studio 24c.  (Provided cable)

I had the epiphany to change it to a normal usb-a to usb-c cable, and now it is crystal clear audio to the PA with zero static out.

Good day!
Try an older driver like

PreSonus_UniversalControl_v3_3_0_59348

it helped me

I started to slow down after updating the driver to the last one ..

it is also useful

To make these adjustments, right-click on Computer > Properties > Advanced System Settings > Performance > Settings, and select:
* Visual Effects > Adjust for best Performance.
* Advanced > Processor Scheduling > Background Services.
* Advanced > Data Execution Prevention > Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only.

I had this problem with disturbing static from day 1. But recently I replaced the enclosed USB-cable with a "super speed" cable (with red connectors) and that helped! Great sound with no noise!
