Hello audio Geniuses,
I've got about the simplest setup known to man yet its not working. Well that is. I use OBS to live stream. Have an old amp and a USB guitar cable to take it into OBS. Works fine then dies midstream. As the static is noticeable when im recording the video of the stream on my MAC, im assuming its that stupid cable. right?
I was looking at getting a ********* xr18 because you can livestream from it. i only have three mics and two guitar inputs. not much.
MAC (Catalina) has USB-C so i was thinking of trying the Studio26c. downside is i cant mix on the pc, just take in the audio from the amp in. least i can change the levels in OBS.
1. What would a comparable presonus device be to the XR18?
2. What settings do you set to be able to take the inputs and stream them say to YouTube?
