iMac 2013 with presonus audio box itwo into mAudio AV 40 monitors audio box plugged in by trs balanced cables should there still be sound coming out of my monitors while I've got my headphones plugged into the presonus audiobox ? Is this normal or do I have to change settings or should I use the headphone in the presonus or the studio monitors  thanks darren

This is normal operation of the device. This allows one to monitor ( via headphones) as well as monitor via Studio Monitors at the same time.
