1000 %. This is the single most needed feature for me when it comes to programming drums in electronic music or any kind of genre. When working on a track, realizing my Kick, Snare or HH is not perfect, I need to be able to audition alternative samples in real time like it is possible in Battery or XLN XO.
Battery, before ruining a formally perfect drum sampler, even did that non destructively, meaning while auditioning alternative samples, they didn't get loaded on the respective pad until I committed. The XLN XO, amongst other weaknesses, only has 8 Drum Sounds available per set, so having this feature in Impact XT would be a booster for a creative workflow and on top probably would be another very strong argument to change to Studio One for those who still can‘t decide. Especially for those who produce electronic music.
