Question

In Studio One v5 I am seeing an issue where the limiter is adding gain to my songs or to a project by default. The gain on the limiter is set to zero, yet it add gain anyway.

I have tested this between studio one 4 and 5. I have used project pages to detect loudness. The limiter is adding gain at gain set to zero.

Has anyone else at all seen this issue? Support is apparently unable to replicate the issue. I can't imagine it would be that hard to see, so maybe it's a different problem with my system? Anyone??

I did notice something like this, but mine was adding 6db -/+ of gain at random to my currently selected RX2 / Wav file (I think that's what their named). I can't do it when i want to test the issue aswell, just does it when it wants.

I have learned that the new limiter in SO5 adds make-up gain as you decrease the threshold.

Not sure how to use the plug in now, but that seems to be the source of my problem.

Does it also happen with "Auto" (-makeup gain) disengaged?
