Question

It would personally help a whole lot to get like a line showing what im about to strip out when editing with strip silence instead of guessing it would be a bit more precise and make my work flow move a whole lot quicker.

Hi.  I have read this a couple of times and I think I have an answer for you.  You could try inserting bend markers, adjusting the threshold until it suits you, marking out sounds and spaces.  That way you could overview, scan the waveform, adding or removing (tidying  up) bend markers and then stripping out the silence.  You can manually add bend markers too if I recall.
