My Presonus studio one 5 recognizes my focusrite 2i2 and I can select it. When I do the test, it works in my headphones. But, audio does record on the tracks and isn't picking up audio when I record. I got the warning, "failed to open speaker" and "failed to open microphone". It also said, 'audio playback disabled and audio recording disabled', although I can't find anywhere to enable it, because it appears it is under the song set up.
