Studio 1824c Doesn't send 8 channels of mono through ADAT, Any fix?

My Presonus Studio 1824c Doesn't send 8 channels of mono through ADAT, only 4 pairs to my interface (wasting inputs 2, 4, 6, 8). It also only is recognised with UC app open. Any fix to this massive glaring problem?
