For an unknown reason, I can no longer turn on the metronome in any songs. This prompted me to try making adjustments in the metronome setup. Now, I cannot turn the metronome off in the song I was working on when I made the adjustments. I can not turn it off either by clicking on the metronome icon (even though it indicates it is turned off by change blue to grey), typing "C" on the keyboard, or clicking it off in the setup window. Also, while making setup adjustments, I changed the accents to different tones. Yet, it still keeps sounding those new tones even after I try to set them back to the default settings. I also tried closing and reloading the affected song and restarting my computer. Neither of those actions resolved the issue.
I am using a Lenovo laptop model 20HDCTO1WW, Windows 10, Studio One Prime 5.1.0.61423 Winx64, Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 audio interface and an Akai MPK mini midi controller.
UPDATE: The song I was working on when this problem arose had auto saved about a dozen files. I checked them all and found that only the latest 2 or 3 had the cant turn off problem where the earlier files did not. I also tried loading earlier auto saved versions of some of my other songs and checked the metronome. I still was not able to turn it on in these songs even through the metronome icon turned blue indicating it was activated.
