What about a StudioLive 32 or 64 Version with less Preamps?

Many FoH Mixers do not need many preamps at the desk since  most of the Input Equipment is connected by Multicore and Stage Boxes.

So most of the Inputs of that Mixers are practically never used. But they cost money, they have weight, they may be a source of failures or disturbances.

Why isn't there a StudioLive FoH Version with Faders like the SX but only a small Bunch of I/O Ports besides AVB Connections? 8 Mic/Line Ins and Outs should be far more than enough for most live FoH Desks, as long as there is a 32/8 Stagebox. I would prefer a 24+1 Fader Model (16x Input, 8 for Monitor, Playback and "special" things).

That one could be a little more compact than the SX Version and have less weight - which is an important selling point for this Series since comparable Consoles of other Brands are often much heavier and many FoH men have to self-carry their Mixer from Car to Desk and back. And since less Preamps means less circuits on Board, it could be a little cheaper than the SX, too.

As an additional gimmick, there could be an integrated WLAN Access Point (maybe as add-on module) for remote control via tablet which often is handy at such places. Or some I/O Module Slots to add Support for DANTE, AES50 or ADAT for alternative nteworking Options.
