Question

For the record, I'm a total noob when it comes to digital mixers so it's all a little confusing... I'm looking for a digital mixer for a live band, I am tossing up between the 32SC (would also need a 16R for the extra inputs) or just going straight to a 32R. Apart from the obvious (faders etc), is there anything the 32SC does that can't be done with the 32R? I haven't been able to find a comparison chart

Is the 32R suitable as a FOH mixer for live bands?

Under the hood they are pretty much the same except the rack mixer has no control surface.
