Studio 1810c audio drops out

My Studio 1810c is plugged into my Mac Mini via a fresh and high-end USB-C cable. I'm running OS 10.15 and the newest version of Universal Control 3.4. It's running out via coaxial to my amplifier.

If I play music, say via iTunes, it'll work for a few seconds. Then the sound will stop, the level lights on the 1810c will drop. iTunes continues to play.

I'm having the same issue.  I'm using Amazon Music instead of iTunes but my Studio 1810c is doing the same thing.  I was having a variety of issues with my Intel i9 32 mb Mackbook Pro so I reset it to the factory defaults.  I reloaded the latest version of all my software hoping that would solve this problem.  It did not.  Quite frustrating.

Did you find a fix or has anyone else solved these issues?

So far the only solution I've found is to restart my computer. Then it works for a while, and at some point the problem resurfaces and I have to restart again.
